LDSHelp4Hire was created to connect families who are looking for help from LDS providers. Whether you need a babysitter, a helping hand with gardening, or a genealogy expert, our goal is to connect you with LDS neighbors outside your ward boundaries.

At LDSHelp4Hire.com it is our mission to faithfully provide opportunity by connecting families with qualified LDS providers who share family values.

Our Story

The founder of LDSHelp4Hire, Holly Leyva, and her husband Cliff have six children. Holly worked as a Regional Operations Manager for a large company, while Cliff worked from home with the four older children in school. However, after the birth of their last two children, it became clear they needed help with the babies for Dad to focus on work.

Finding Kristen
Knowing they wanted a local nanny with their same family values, they began searching and networking, but were unable to find anyone that fit the bill. They found themselves frustrated and wishing there was a larger source to pull from. After much prayer and some definite inspiration, they found Kristen. She had recently moved into the area to help care for her mother and had become involved in the ward. Kristen had prior nanny experience, shared the same family and education values, and turned out to be the perfect fit for their family. She has been a wonderful addition to their family and the children love her dearly.

Reclaiming date night
A year later, Cliff changed jobs and began working outside the home. Holly was able to leave her management job and stay at home to raise the children. Knowing the value of taking time away to spend with her spouse, Holly began looking for sitters for date night with her husband. Working from a list of sitters from the Young Women, she found that most were busy with school or other social activities. Once again, Holly and Cliff found themselves in need of a sitter and wishing there was another resource for LDS sitters besides ward lists. Knowing that other people shared this need sparked the idea for LDSHelp4Hire.

LDS family values

As an LDS community, we offer a variety of skills and talents that will benefit LDS families and our communities.
